Meet the Artist

I'm Isabella Aceves (Bella), a first-gen student who has been attending UIW as a psychology major with a minor in art therapy since 2024, projected to graduate in 2027. I worked very hard in high school doing AP and dual classes, all while maintaining my passion for art, to get to where I am and earn scholarships that allow me to even be here; pursuing my passion of helping the community through creative forms of therapy. I've always had a knack for psychology and art (especially when they are combined) and feel that this passion is clear in my work. I hope these pieces alter perspectives and widen the eyes of those who see them and that whoever is seeing these (yes, you) feels just as passionate about art as I always have.
