Artist Bio

Temple Douglass is a third-year Drawing and Painting major at the University of Georgia. She makes drawings that take daily life and people as subject matter. Her work often refers to pop and mass culture using music, TV, and fashion references to celebrate aspects of Black femininity in creative and simplified ways. She is also very informed by her own experiences and seeks to create introspective, metaphysical, and memory-based imagery of herself and others she’s close to. Follow me on Instagram @temple.d.art
